It’s a wonderful wine. Distinct character and, also, very clean in its delivery.

About The Wine
The Bricco Ernesto Vino Bianco is likely to surprise many people who may not associate the Piemonte region with skin-contact white wines.
With the wine resting on the skins in wood for 100 days (yes, you read that number correctly), this is an "orange" wine that pushes the technique almost to its limits. It is a textured and layered wine that feels greater than the sum of its parts, with scintillating aromas and flavours of honey, wax, stone fruits and herbs.
It has a tannin grip that you usually associate with red wines but the bright acidity helps keep things in balance. This is a wine many will find divisive but many, many people will love...
About Bricco Ernesto
Based in the small village of Priocca, home to vineyards and hazelnut trees (this is Nutella country), Bricco Ernesto is making tiny amounts of great wine under young gun winemaker Renato Vezza.
The land has been in the family for 4 generations - back in the day “Ernesto “ refused to sell the hill because he wanted to leave it to his grandson, hence why the wine is called Bricco Ernesto!
The Bianco and Rosso are some of the region's most rare and collectable wines.
