Super value mid-week red from Margaret River here from Ben Gould at Blind Corner.
This is a drink-me-now blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot from his organic vineyard in Quindalup. You don't see reds with this amount of juicy primary fruit from the West that often.
It's all pulpy and grapey, blue fruit and chocolate. It's a delicious mid-week drop, perfect for pizza nights in or BBQ nights out. Serious value for money here. No-brainer territory for fans of WA reds.
About Blind Corner
Ben and Naomi Gould set up their little organic farm in the famed Wilyabrup sub-region of Margaret River in 2005.
Since then they have passionately pursued a more 'natural' style of Margaret River winemaking, taking all they learnt from a transformative trip to Europe and fusing it with best modern winemaking practices.
Their wines are fun and vibrant, made with minimal additions and offer great value for money. They are one of the leading lights of biodynamic and organic viticulture in Western Australia.
