About The Wine
Sholto Broderick's wines have never looked better.
In his 2019 releases you can see a young producer maturing. This Pinot Noir is probably the most 'serious' wine the young dude has released to date.
As always, it's home-grown fruit, farmed organically by him and his family.
The wine has a touch of class about it. It smells of berries picked fresh off the bush, a fist full of spring flowers and garden herbs fresh from the ground. And it sits in a light-as-a-feather frame.
Lovely small batch Pinot from Sholto and his tribe.
About Basket Range Wine
The Broderick family have farmed their little piece of the Adelaide Hills since the 1980's.
Phillip, the Broderick patriarch, has made a more classical style of wine from his fruit for the last few decades and now son Sholto has started making his own juice along side him.
Sholto's stuff is a bit looser in style, more in line with the frisky 'vin-de-soif' style of wine coming from the Basket Range community. The wines are fun and playful and made without little to no additions. These are quintessential picnic wines built for swishing in tumblers in the sun.
