About The Wine
The Bande Apart Gamay is a juicy, joyful little red wine that packs a punch.
The fruit comes from the Koombahla Vineyard in the King Valley, one of the better Gamay resources in Victoria. Just four barrels made this year for the debut release, and they are four barrels of delicious juice.
Jess and Jamie have nailed this straight up. Partial whole bunch ferment lends a lovely lift of spice and some sappy, snappy texture. It's jubey and floral and all the wonderful things about Gamay all rolled into one.

About Bande Apart
Jess & Jamie are Bande Apart.
This exciting new project is their chance to step out away from their day jobs in Coonawarra and Mildura respectively and play with a few small batches of fruit that they want to drink.
The fruit they work with comes from the King Valley and the Adelaide Hills. Inspired by a shared vintage in Burgundy, they have sort out Gamay & Pinot Meunier for reds and Chardonnay & Aligote for whites and are making them in a fresh, smashable style.
They only make 2-4 barrels of each wine so stocks are limited.
