About The Wine
We absolutely fell head over heals for this wine when we tasted it.
It's Pinot Meunier from the Adelaide Hills that is pretty as a picture. It's light, feathery, pure and pristine - a flighty little thing that smells like the first full bloom in spring.
This is the perfect warm-weather red. It's all strawberries and flowers and light, sweet spice. It's up there with the best examples of Pinot Meunier we have tried this year.
About Bande Apart
Jess & Jamie are Bande Apart.
This exciting new project is their chance to step out away from their day jobs in Coonawarra and Mildura respectively and play with a few small batches of fruit that they want to drink.
The fruit they work with comes from the King Valley and the Adelaide Hills. Inspired by a shared vintage in Burgundy, they have sort out Gamay & Pinot Meunier for reds and Chardonnay & Aligote for whites and are making them in a fresh, smashable style.
They only make 2-4 barrels of each wine so stocks are limited.
