About The Wine
Roero is part of Piemonte that often gets overlooked by two more well-known areas, Barolo and Barbaresco. Alberto Oggero's aim in his winemaking is to translate the beauty of the Roero region through the glass; his hands-off approach effortlessly expressing the care and passion he puts into the vineyard.
When you taste this juicy yet savoury Arneis, with a hint of minerality, I think you'll agree he's succeeded.
About Alberto Oggero
Growing up, Alberto Oggero would often follow his grandfather Sandro through the vines
It sparked a life-long love affair with making wine from his home area of Roero. He studied oenology in Alba, gaining the technical skills to compliment his passion. And in 2009 Alberto took over his grandfather's vineyard, eventually fulfilling his long-time dream of restoring the old family house and cellar.
He now lovingly tends to 3 hectares of vines across his home, producing wonderful wines from Nebbiolo and Arneis - in his words... "juice of the land."
