About The Wine
Dave and Koen (AKA Yetti and Kokonut) have set about crafting two different expressions of Savagnin from the 2018 vintage.
Where the "Beach Wine" version, as the name suggests, is a lighter, more frisky version of Savagnin brimming with fresh fruit-juice flavours, this takes Savagnin into a slightly more serious territory.
This is matured in a 2450L oak barrel from the 1960s - the careful use of oxygen and skin contact lending salty, saline, nutty notes to the underlying tropical fruit.
It's savoury, textural and wickedly delicious to drink.

Dave Geyer and Koen Janssens are the Yetti and the Kokonut.
These two high-octane, talented young winemakers have partnered up to produce some truly original and electric natural wines from sustainable vineyards across South Australia.
These wines are colourful, flavourful and a little tongue in cheek.
