About The Wine
This is the earlier drinking, lighter and crunchier Pinot Noir of Turon White.
Half of the grapes were fermented as whole bunches giving the wine a lightness and freshness. You see the freshly picked green herb character meshed to poached strawberries and crunchy acidity.
It's a great early-drinking picnic Pinot.
For best drinking, pop this into the fridge for a minute or two before cracking. Then guzzle with abandon.
Turon White is a young, articulate and intelligent winemaker - the kind we need more of in this country.
His mission to go beyond just variety and region, and explore sub-region, the site and the clone as a wholistic investigation. He is ahead of the curve in much of the Australian wine industry.
With only a few vintages under the Turon label under his belt, the future seems bright for this great new Adelaide Hills talent.
In 2019, James Halliday dubbed him, "One of the best three new wineries in this Companion". There's plenty more to come from this SA rising star.
