About This Wine
While so much of the Cabernet Franc we see these days in Australia is the more medium bodied fragrant type, this Argentinian offering reminds us of the powerful potential of Cabernet Franc.
From the high altitude Uco Valley vineyard of the Bodega, this is an aromatic wine, with the classic herbaceousness that we associate with this variety. Round tannins and a well-developed mouth-feel are complimented by the varietal dry herb character, alongside some oak-influenced chocolate notes.
At 14+% abv, this is certainly no wallflower, it’s a wine that showcases the power that Cabernet Franc is capable of, in its full-throttle style.
