Thymiopoulos works exclusively with Xinomavro, producing 10 cuvees with the grape, showcasing its versatility and potential.
The Earth & Sky is made only from the best of the best parcels of fruit from the two vineyards of the estate. The blend sees the best of both worlds coming to the table - the Trilofos vineyard providing ripe, rich flavour while the Fytia vineyards bring acidity and freshness.
Overall, it's an absolutely beautiful Xinomavro crafted with great care and finesse. Seductive and elegant, it's a wine to be mesmerised by.
About Thymiopoulos
Apostolos Thymiopoulos is one of the key wine producers in the region of Naoussa, north central Greece, biodynamically cultivating fascinating wines, predominantly from the thick skinned red grape Xinomavro (he makes ten different versions!)
His family has been tending wines in and around the village of Trifolos for generations. Since his first release under the Thymiopoulos label in 2005 he has farmed biodynamically and made wines traditional - unfined, unflitered aged in vats and barrels.
