...A little edgy. But nourishing and soulful.

About the Wine
The Elenay Shiraz is one of those wines birthed from a serendipitous event.
Just over 10 years ago, a few barrels of fruit intended for the beloved Kiss Shiraz didn't quite make the cut, and a few barrels from Sweetwater Vineyard didn't really have the usual Sweetwater style.
So Andrew Thomas decided to blend them both together, and the resultant wine was an absolutely exceptional expression of Hunter Shiraz.
They now do an actual barrel selection for the fruit that goes into this wine - the composition might change a little bit year to year, but it's always a stunning release that aims to highlight the use of premium French oak. We're certainly stoked about this happy accident.
