The wine put me in mind of Foillard’s Morgon.

About The Wine
This is a limited bottling of Erinn Klein's best Syrah grapes from their biodynamic Adelaide Hills vineyard.
It's a refined cool-climate Syrah, combining ripe blue fruits, whole-bunchy herbs and a cavalcade of sweet, peppery spices into a classy, elegant red wine that feels unforced and untampered with.
This treads the line between classic and contemporary, with a foot in each camp of the traditional spicy Syrahs of the old world and the vibrant modern Syrahs of the Adelaide Hills.
It's one of the best releases to date from this important family wine-growing business.
About Ngeringa
Erinn & Janet Klein are pioneers of biodynamic viticulture in Australia.
Their Adelaide Hills vineyard has been certified biodynamic for more than 20 years. They are deeply passionate about the health and well-being of their soils and plants. It's a bucolic scene they have created in their little part of the world.
In the winery, they favour low-intervention winemaking allowing their pristine fruit to fully express itself. And they have been instrumental in mentoring many of the younger-generation winemakers pursuing a more natural approach to winemaking in the Hills.
With an eclectic range that spans everything from experimental to classical stylings, Ngeringa offers a little something for everyone.
