Le Domaine D'Henri
About The Wine
The Laroche family name is one of the most respected in Chablis.
This old family has deep roots in the region, with a love for the terroir of Chablis being passed on from generation to generation since 1850.
These wines are classic examples of the region. The fruit is picked at full ripeness, traditional winemaking is applied in the cellar (stainless for Petit and AC Chablis with old barrels utelised for the 1er cuveés).
This was an experiment from winemaker Margaux Laroche. In all likelihood, this is the first example of a Pet Nat out of the Chablis region.
It's just what you'd imagine it to be - a sleek, mineral-driven, focused wine with a very fine fizz. Lots of energy, lots of drinking pleasure. It's delicious to say the least.
It's a wine that has been very popular and will now be a regular member of the Domaine d'Henri stable.
