Excellent. Should age nicely too.

About the Wine
On the southern slopes of Moppa, these low yielding Grenache vines date back to the early 60s, planted by Ian and Carl Albert Kalleske. Today, affable son Shawn Kalleske leads this family affair, turning out exceptional, world class wines without fanfare or bluster.
From tiny old vine berries, there’s a measured intensity to this. Silky, dark plum and boysenberry fruit supported by accents of chocolatey French oak and smokey graphite.
Whilst dense structure and fine tannin will hold this steady for the road ahead, it’s superb value for the quality, and delicious drinking right now.
