This is a delicious, seriously good wine.

About The Wine
Jared Dixon has made quite the name for himself with his avant-garde, left of centre wines from the far north of NSW.
It's typical to see totally a-typical wines coming out of his stable. Not so, with this wine.
This is a dead serious blend of Shiraz and Viognier with some real muscle and grunt. This is Jared moving into premium territory.
A sparse, cactus-littered vineyard is the scene. A fairly hefty 10% of the wine is Viognier, all fermented as whole bunches with the Shiraz.
The end result is magic.
About Jilly Wines
Jared Dixon is a lone ranger on his own mission in the New England wine region.
His wines are made from interesting varieties grown on unique vineyards, sites he classes as ‘undiscovered gems.’ His winemaking is extremely hands-off, allowing the full expression of the fruit to be the focus of every wine.
They are fun, don't take themselves too seriously and have a distinct energy about them.
Jared is one of Northern NSW's most exciting and impassioned young winemakers. Where he takes his idiosyncratic label from here is anyone's guess.
