Well balanced and slightly honeyed in texture.

About This Wine
A wine that is true to the old-school Chablis style. From 40 separate parcels of vines across the 7 communes of Chablis, it is assembled from grapes grown across the appellation.
With this wine, Dauvissat is focused on producing a fuller-bodied Chablis, with richness, and a good balance between fruit and minerality.
Led by an intense citrus nose, the aromas stay fresh on the palate, with powerful fruit and a nice saline character on the finish.
About Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils
Domaine Jean Dauvissat Pere & Fils, have vineyards across the Chablis region, with 53 separate parcels of vines across 7 communes.
They are resolute in the belief that in order for their wines to be pure and expressive, they must allow their terroir to be expressed in the wines.
To this end they stopped using any chemical inputs in their farming in 2011, and from 2018 begun farming biodynamically.
They believe their wines needs time to mature organically, thus only releasing them a minimum 2 years after harvest.
