About The Wine

The Frederick Stevenson Rosé is a wine designed to go with "Sun, Spaghetti al Vongole, Duke Ellington Take the A Train & your lover" according to the creator Steve Crawford.

This is a bone-dry Rosé made from biodynamically grown fruit in the Barossa Valley. Here Steve combines Cinsault and Grenache into a wine that is insanely drinkable.

Not much in the way of winemaking tricks here. Just early picked fruit from a great farm, presented as naturally as possible. Mike Bennie described it as a wine that is "Good good good." in his 92 point review.

If in the mood for savoury, dry Rosé, the Freddy Stevenson is going to hit the spot.

Critic Reviews

The Wine Front

"Tangy, dry, lean style. Cranberry meets pomegranate with chalkiness and amaro-like tang. Almost like licking pumice to close. Really like this wine, lots of refreshment factor and food friendliness. Good good good." - Mike Bennie (The Wine Front)
