About The Wine
Cloud Walker is an ultra-juicy blend of Pinot Gris and Riesling from the Cirrus Vineyard in Martinborough.
The grapes are grown organically, there's nothing added to the juice at any point in the winemaking process. What you see in the glass is the end result of great fruit nursed to bottle with a gentle hand.
Skins play a part, as do old barrels and ceramic eggs.
With no preservatives added to this wine, this is as natural as wine gets and it's down right delicious to drink.
About Cambridge Road
The Cambridge Road vineyard was planted in 1986 making it one of the oldest plantings in New Zealand.
Today the site is farmed by Lance Redgewell and his family, who work the vines according to organic and biodynamic principals.
Only Syrah and Pinot Noir are grown on the block. To broaden the horizons of Cambridge Road, Lance sources other parcels of organic fruit from like-minded growers bringing all sorts of colours and flavours into their range.
These are celebrated as some of the best examples of naturally made wines in all of NZ.
