About This Wine
The longest produced Noble wine (Vino Nobile) from Boscarelli, this wine has been made since 1968, and makes up nearly half of their production.
A Sangiovese dominant blend, with other indigenous varieties also in the blend, this is a character-filled wine that is made for longevity. Very fresh and elegant there is lots of old-world complexity in the bottle here.
Old-school Tuscany at its best, just entering its drinking window now, with decades more to go.
About Boscarelli
Boscarelli was founded in 1962 when Egidio Corradi decided the call of home was too strong, so he left his life in Genoa to return to Cervognano di Montepulciano in Tuscany.
Purchasing 2 plots of mixed agricultural land, he shook things up, and went against convention by planting vines across his holdings.
Now run by his grandchildren Luca and Nicolo De Ferrari, their goal is to preserve the spirit of the winery and produce the same style of wines that their grandfather was so passionate about.
