About The Wine
There aren't many wines made from this variety in Aus, and less that are anywhere near as delicious as this little number from Somm-turned-winemaker, Louisa Chalmer.
Picked from Lou calls, "surely one of the most spectacular vineyards in the King Valley", this spent some time fermenting as whole bunches with a little foot-stomped juice over the top, the oxygen and skin contact really ramping up the volume of flavour and texture in this delicious release.
Only the teeniest, tiniest amount of sulphur was used. It's a cracking amber wine from an exciting new producer.
