About The Wine
The Bugalugs Shiraz has been one of the Barossa's most bankable value Shiraz propositions for a few years now.
Its maker, Tim Smith, makes no bones about its user-friendly style. This isn't big, hearty, Barossa Shiraz shrouded in oak, it's a more accessible rendition of this famous grape/region pairing.
It's all about freshness and ease of drinking, something we wish could be said more often for Shiraz from this part of the world.
You can rest assured that this is going to hit the mark for your go-to mid-week red.
About Tim Smith
Tim Smith loves the Barossa and he's not afraid to yell it from the rafters.
His range of Barossa and Eden classics are exemplary value and of very high quality. There is an honesty to the wines he makes and a charming rusticity across the whole range.
Tim has more than two decades of experience making wine in the Barossa and abroad. He has taken influences from his time the Rhone Valley, Portugal, and NZ and infused those winemaking ideas with a classic Barossa regional style.
If you love classic Barossa reds delivered without pretension, you are going to get along with Tim just fine.
