Quite complex. Very good.

About This Wine
Named Wahluu, the Wiradyuri name for Mt Panorama, Renzaglia are paying their respects to the traditional owners of the land on which this wine was grown and recognising the culture that has been a foundation of this place for thousands of years.
This is a tightly wound Blanc de Blancs, which spend 30 months on lees before disgorgement. Very much driven by the malic acid characters of chardonnay, crisp green apples, pears, oyster shell, so common in Chablis.
Saline and crisp, this is lean, and clean, with a flinty mineral sheen.
About Renzaglia
From their beginnings making wine in the early 80’s in a ‘dry’ county in Illinois, to their current iteration in the O’Connell Valley of NSW, the Renzaglias have bucked convention, and followed their convictions.
With the 3rd generation of the family, Sam, now at the helm, they are producing a range of wines from their two vineyards, Bella Luna in the Valley, and the Mt Panorama vineyard in Bathurst.
They work with nature to encourage microbial growth in the vineyards, believing that living vineyards produce the best wines.
