The Ravensworth Riesling has always been a blend of Estate grown fruit from Bryan Martin's home block blended with some high quality fruit from fellow surrounding growers. Here, the Ravensworth Estate fruit gets its own bottling for the first time and it's a show stopping release.
This spent 10 months on lees inside a huge 700L ceramic egg, slowly enriching the textural components which really set this apart for other Rieslings from the region.
The acidity here is absolutely electric. As Mike Bennie so beautifully articulated in his 95 point review of the inaugural release, "the lasting message is ‘very delicious’. Scintillating wine. Such high pedigree and drinkability."
