About The Wine
This is the top scoring Sauvignon Blanc in the country from the 2019 James Halliday Wine Companion.
Michael Hall has absolutely nailed this release.
A cunning combination of oak maturation and skin contact elevates this wine above the pack. The purity of fruit from the 2017 season is stunning. When tricked up with a little spicy oak and some chalky texture from the time on skins, the fruit really sings.
With a huge 97 points from Ned Goodwin MW, this is one of the best examples of 'serious' Sauv Blanc in the country this year.
