About This Wine
Loire Valley Cabernet is a completely different beast to the wines produced in Bordeaux. Lithe, fragrant, and in the case of this wines from brothers Remy and Charly, a bit more natural in feel.
Expressive, pure, and deliciously moreish, this is a whole new take on Cabernet Sauvignon. Organically farmed, handed with little to no intervention, this is old-world wine in a very modern and enchanting frame.
For natty lovers, and those who are old-school Cab lovers, here's a wine that should appeal to you both.
About Frederic Mabileau
Inspired by the achievements of his father, Frédéric Mabileau started his personal label in 1988 when he planted his first vines on his wife Nathalie's property known as 'Rouillères'.
Frédéric's family history in winemaking and viticulture harks back to 1620, but with Nathalie by his side, he set out to forge his own reputation. Today his wines are considered benchmarks of quality for the Loire. Organically farmed and crafted with a light touch in the winery, these are wonderfully expressive Cabernet Francs and Chenin Blancs that are utterly compelling to drink.
