The Luke Lambert Syrah is always made with a deft touch.
Luke's choice of vineyard in the South-West of the Yarra Valley (some of the coolest terrain in the region) offers him the opportunity to make a wine of unique elegance and finesse.
The 2017 release may be Luke's finest winemaking moment to date. From a vintage that he has called "a perfect 10 out of 10.", this release cements him as one of the true winemaking craftsman of his generation.
The 2017 was fermented with 80% whole bunches, the highest level to date due to stalks hitting optimum ripeness in the long, trouble-free vintage.
The wine is beautifully balanced, refined and pure-fruit once again, all the hallmarks of Luke's signature Syrah style.

Luke Lambert is one of the Yarra Valley's great winemaking talents.
His traditionally inspired winemaking gently draws out the unique voice of the special vineyards he sources fruit from. He focuses on cooler sites in the Yarra, looking for precise, streamlined expressions of Nebbiolo, Syrah and Chardonnay. These wines under his eponymous label are considered by many as benchmark wines in this country.
His Crudo label offers exceptional value for money. The Shiraz, Chardonnay and Rosé are built in a more generous style without compromising quality. They offer a brilliant balance of complexity and drinkability.
