About the Wine

If you are on the hunt for good value bubbles, then you should be drinking Prosecco.  And this is one of the better Proseccos in the country.

The King Valley is home to the best Prosecco fruit in Australia, and Sam Scott certainly knows how to source good fruit.  As with all of Sam's wines no shortcuts have been taken in the winemaking, with a slow, cool ferment retaining great flavour and varietal character.

It's refreshing, flavour-packed and precisely the kind of 'serious' Prosecco that is proving so popular at the moment.  Amazing value.

About Scott & La Prova Wines

Sam Scott has a clear vision for his Scott and La Prova labels - Italian inspired wines done with an Australian sensibility. Utilising his retail, winemaking and viticultural experience, he has crafted a range of interesting, charming wines from select vineyards through Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek.

The vibrant are vibrant and fruit-forward but with a savoury twist and great varietal character. Value-for-money wise, the range is up there with the best in the country. Sam is an excellent guy and a supremely talented winemaker, and as James Halliday noted, “Scott is a star in the making.”

DDS review

Green apples and apple blossom notes smells a little sea breezy too. It’s clean and tastes of lemons and their skins with teeniest tug of grip. Nice fizz too, gently creamy in the mouth but with some cleansing, zingy acid. Set up on a deck with a good view and just watch this get demolished. - Different Drop Wine Team
