About The Wine
If you want to look at what's on the cutting edge of QLD wine, these La Petite Mort wines would be right on the cusp.
Here's Pinot Noir and Sangiovese fused together in Rosé form.
There's the pretty aromatics of the Pinot Noir, the darker more savoury elements of the Sangiovese for some grunt.
It's a delicious if not unusual blend that is sure to spark conversation at the dinner table.
About La Petite Mort
La Petite Mort is one of the more unusual wine projects in Southern Queensland.
These wines are made with ancient winemaking techniques, fermented in terracotta amphora and brought to bottle with minimal intervention.
The wines are wild and full of flavour and are some of the most interesting creations we have seen from the Granite Belt.
