The Barossa has some of the world's oldest Semillon vines but few realise brilliant wines from them like wine grower and maker Brett Grocke.
This comes from the Magnolia vineyard. It's fermented in barrel, the power of the old vine fruit calling out for more texture from winemaking.
This is a delicious wine. With 95 points from Gary Walsh it offers great value.

As a fifth generation born and raised Barossa viticulturalist/winemaker, Eperosa is the vessel through which he tells the story of the patches of the Barossa which he has cared for his whole life.
These wines are honest, robust and made with minimal intervention. A true representation of the modern Barossa with old vines and a rich family heritage as the backdrop.
