About The Wine

This Pinot Noir comes from a single vineyard in the Derwent Valley of Tasmania, one of the hot beds of premium Pinot Noir on the Apple Isle.

This is a blend of five clones from five different blocks across the site. It was fermented as whole clusters then sent to aged demi-muid to soften and mature before being bottled unfined and unfiltered.

This is a wonderfully expressive wine, a mix of exotic fruit flavours and spice.

Another great release from this unique Tasmanian producer.

About Domaine Simha

Nav Singh is the man behind the Domaine Simha label. Along with his wife Louise, Nav has built a unique stable of Tasmanian wines under the Domaine Simha banner. 

He draws from multiple philosophies when crafting his range. The winemaking is mostly traditional, using low amounts of additives, fermenting in clay amphora, experimenting with varying levels of whole bunch and skin contact. The fruit he sources from the Upper Derwent, Coal River and Huon Valley regions, is all picked according to the lunar calendar ala biodynamics.

At Domaine Simha, new project is always in the works. Nav is never afraid to take a chance or try something new.

A story of terroir; five clones from five blocks across a single Derwent Valley vineyard make this a complete and compelling wine. Cherry blossom parfum, bright fruited and elegant with succulent spice and fine, rounded tannins.

Handpicked on a fruit day after the harvest moon 
Whole bunch wild ferment with gentle pigeage 
Matured 12 months en seasoned demi-muid 
Basket pressed, bottled unfined and unfiltered with perfect natural balance

We ship primarily with Australia Post. Their fast, easy and reliable delivery is completely FREE for any orders of $150 or more, or just $9 for any orders of $149 or less. There is no minimum order quantity and you can mix and match as much as you like.

The vast majority of orders are dispatched from our Sydney warehouse on the same or next business day. Estimated delivery time frames can be viewed here. Please include Authority to Leave instructions in the ‘SPECIAL REQUESTS’ box during checkout if you may not be available to sign for your delivery and would like it left at your front door.
