Here's a fresh faced look at the Sangiovese grape from two QLD boys who are making some really interesting juice.
The fruit is from the Galli Estate vineyard in Sunbury. Lawrence Scanlon (one half of the Dirty Black Denim brothers) worked at Galli in 2014 and loves the fruit that comes from this site.
Here the boys are going for a smashable, easy going table wine. Nothing too serious but it's frisky and fresh, made with no new oak and no additions (including sulphur).
It's a new look for Victorian Sangio. Natural wine lovers, get around it!
