About The Wine
Ben Haines has a particular affinity for the white grapes of the Rhone Valley.
He first began working with the Marsanne fruit from the Warramunda vineyard in Coldstream, Yarra Valley back in 2011.
Over the years Ben has learnt how to get the very best out of this fruit, looking to build texture through time in barrel yet maintain freshness at the same time.
The 2017 is a cracking release. With 95 points from Jane Faulkner, this is a very good example of just how good these Rhone whites can be when treated right.
