This release is very much like the 2013 vintage.

About The Wine
Since winning the Jimmy Watson Trophy with the 2013 vintage, this Adelaide Hills Syrah has become one of the most sought after wines in the S.C. Pannell range.
For those who claimed and loved some of the highly prized '13, Steve says this release from 2016 is the closest thing to it.
It comes from a stunning vineyard in Echunga, in the south of the Adelaide Hills. Like all of Steve's wines it is built around bright fruit and beautiful tannins, and in a warmer season like 2016, it really sings.
This is the embodiment of modern cool-climate Syrah. A classy and sophisticated wine driven by perfume and spice. It's stunning.
