A full bodied but beautifully balanced red with true regional charisma and charm, this is outstanding buying if you are looking for something to either drink now or cellar.
The 2016 vintage has received 95 points from both Jane Faulkner and Gary Walsh.
This is a wine for true lovers of the robust McLaren Vale style.
About Rudderless Vineyard
Rudderless Vineyard was planted by noted McLaren Vale wine personality, Doug Govan, owner and proprietor of the historic Victory Hotel in foothills of Sellicks Hill.
Doug began planting the 'initial' vineyard in 1999 with cuttings taken from some of his favourite vineyards around the country. Another vineyard to the West soon followed.
The wines are currently made by the Yangarra team of Pete Fraser and Charlie Seppelt, two of the region's finest and most experienced winemakers.
The resulting wines are astonishingly good. A gem of McLaren Vale and top value to boot.
