Here’s a Malbec that really tastes like Malbec.
About The Wine
Here's what is rapidly becoming one of the country's most hunted Malbecs.
Grown in the foothills of Sellicks Hill in McLaren Vale, this luscious and incredibly well put together red is one of the more impressive examples of the variety to be found anywhere in Australia.
The inherent power and concentration of the Rudderless Malbec fruit has been beautifully tamed by winemakers Pete Fraser and Charlie Seppelt.
It's big. It's beautiful. It's a Malbec that you are going to fall in love with.
About Rudderless Vineyard
Rudderless Vineyard was planted by noted McLaren Vale wine personality, Doug Govan, owner and proprietor of the historic Victory Hotel in foothills of Sellicks Hill.
Doug began planting the 'initial' vineyard in 1999 with cuttings taken from some of his favourite vineyards around the country. Another vineyard to the West soon followed.
The wines are currently made by the Yangarra team of Pete Fraser and Charlie Seppelt, two of the region's finest and most experienced winemakers.
The resulting wines are astonishingly good. A gem of McLaren Vale and top value to boot.
