This is exactly the style of wine I like to drink with easygoing red sauced pasta and pizza.

About the Wine
Sam Scott's prowess with Italian varieties naturally extends to Nero d'Avola. He gets the balance of sweet and savoury just right in this 2016 release from the Barossa Valley.
As a wine designed for his own enjoyment, Sam has got this one just right. "This is exactly the style of wine I like to drink with easygoing red sauced pasta and pizza." he says. Campbell Mattinson agreed giving it 92 points and noting that "it has drinkability written all over it."
Another winning release for this reliably excellent value producer in the Adelaide Hills.
About Scott & La Prova Wines
Sam Scott has a clear vision for his Scott and La Prova labels - Italian inspired wines done with an Australian sensibility.
Utilising his retail, winemaking and viticultural experience, he has crafted a range of interesting, charming wines from select vineyards through Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek.
They are vibrant and fruit-forward but with a savoury twist and great varietal character. Value-for-money wise, the range is up there with the best in the country.
Sam is an excellent guy and a supremely talented winemaker, as James Halliday noted, “Scott is a star in the making.”
