A sensational chardonnay from Hoddles Creek Estate.

About The Wine
Syberia is the nickname the D'Anna family has given to the highest and steepest block of Chardonnay on the Hoddles Creek Estate vineyard.
The wine it produces each year is markedly different to the rest of the Hoddles Creek Chardonnays. Syberia is leaner, more focused and perhaps a more precise 'Chablis-eque' style of wine.
It is compact yet powerful, hence Franco allowing it extra time in bottle prior to release. The 2016 is a sensational vintage of this wine. A wine which will take the next decade easily in stride.
Campbell Mattinson summed it up beautifully in his blistering 96 point review, "This is a quite profound chardonnay: flavoursome, structured, textural and long... Cracking. Just cracking."
