Franco d'Anna has added a new string to his bow here, with a delightful new Blanc de Blanc bubbly!
It's made from near-on 100% Pinot Blanc (with a splash of Chardonnay) - the only 'Blanc de Blancs' of its kind in the country. It comes from a low-yielding block on the Hoddles Creek estate, with 4 months on lees and a further 20 months in barrel adding texture and weight to what is strikingly pure and refreshing fruit.
Gary Walsh awarded 93 points to what is just a unique, delicious bubbly that is, as always with Hoddles Creek, superb value for money.
