About The Producer
The Hickinbotham vineyard is somewhat of a legend amongst the Australian winemaking community.
Planted in 1971, the Cabernet and Shiraz vineyards in the Clarendon region have since provided fruit to some of the most iconic wines in the country, including Penfolds Grange, Eileen Hardy and Clarendon Hills.
In the last few years the vineyard has undergone somewhat of a renaissance after being purchased by American wine juggernaut, the Jackson family, and being placed into the winemaking care of Australian, Charlie Seppelt and American guru, Chris Carpenter.
These are premium wines that are made in only limited quantities and are built to mature gracefully.
