Yum. Good, different.

About the Wine
With juicy flavours of blackcurrant, blackberries and spice, years in bottle have shaped the Chateau Tire Pe Bordeaux La Cote into something lovely. Fruit for the wine comes from the wider Bordeaux region, showing wonderful ripeness, and reflecting the excellent conditions. After harvesting, the grapes macerated for 3-4 weeks, extracting much tannin, colour and flavour, before fermentation began in tank and then ageing in oak vats.
For the best experience, decant the wine several hours before drinking, and watch the aromas and flavours unfold. Like with many Bordeaux, this will be a great accompaniment to steak or any other red-meat dishes.
About Chateau Tire Pe
Helene and David Barrault started their small Chateau on the banks of the Gironde in 1997, in 2008 they started working organically and in 2014 they received certification. It’s important to note that whilst increasingly we see organics becoming the norm, this is not yet the case in Bordeaux.
The family farm Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec, along with some small pockets of local varieties and with these vines they craft a collection of lo-fi reds made with minimal additions and a natural mindset.
Chateau Tire Pe make 'jack in a box' wines. They leap from the glass, take you by surprise and leave you wanting to do it all again. Thankfully they are exceptional value so you can afford to.
