About The Wine
Jo Marsh's Billy Button 'The Alluring' Tempranillo is a classic cool-climate Temp with a little attitude.
Jo selects two parcels of fruit each year from two different vineyards in her beloved Alpine Valleys. One parcel has fruit which is a little brighter, the other a little more savoury. Together they create just the right amount of 'allure' in the wine, a Tempranillo which is ready to go, right now, whenever you are.
The 2016 was rated 94 points by Campbell Mattinson and labelled it "a sweet-savoury wine with more than a little drama".
Made in typically small amounts (as is the Billy Button way), you'll need to be quick if you want to give this a whirl.
About Billy Button
Billy Button is one of our favourite wineries.
As Jo Marsh continues to expand her brilliant boutique range she continues to impress us to no end. Her commitment to alternative varietals with amazing drinkability is one of the most charming aspects of her label.
This combined with a ferocious passion for her home in the Alpine Valleys and the growers that produces there, makes Billy Button a one-of-a-kind.
