About The Wine
From the Neudorf Valley in the Adelaide Hills, this tasty little number from talented winemaker Callum Beal will have you drinking in anything but little portions.
Crafted in tiny quantities from a neighbouring vineyard, the fittingly named Little White - sibling to the awesome Little Red - is a refreshingly dry drop made from quality hand-picked Chenin Blanc grapes. Stunning floral notes with a smattering of green apple and honey throughout, it's a delicious drop adhering to the Beal & Co. ethos of pure, concentrated and site-expressive wines.
A humbly produced white with distinctive flavour, the Beal & Co. Little White represents quality that you'll want in big quantities. And at this price, what's keeping you?
About Beal & Co.
Callum Beal is one of the younger generation rising stars of the Adelaide Hills wine scene.
As a sommelier-turned-retailer-turned-winemaker/grape-grower, Callum took the long way round to come back to his home of in the Hills. His parents own a small, picturesque vineyard in the Lobethal sub-region which supplies the backbone of his range.
His wines are about accessibility and slurpability. Made with a lo-fi sensibility but with a strong scientific backbone, his range is continuing to expand, taking in fruit from his neighbours and planting his own vineyard in the Hills with an eye toward the future.
Beal & Co is one of those names you should tuck in your Little Black Book. The wines are killer and offer great value for money. He is, without doubt, one of the names to watch in the region over the coming years.
