About The Wine
Woods Crampton - once again challenging Barossa Valley convention with this smashable and completely unique red.
Their 'Sleeping Dogs' is an eclectic blend of Bonvedro, Mataro, and Graciano, which is built for easy drinking with a point of difference. The fruit is picked and vinified separately, aged briefly in only older French oak with around 20% whole bunches adding extra depth and interest.
There is nothing else like this in the Barossa - a dangerously drinkable red full of spice and bright fruit. Very interesting and very, very tasty. Top value for the more adventurous Barossa fan.
About Woods Crampton
Woods Crampton is an energetic brand quickly making a big name for themselves out of the Barossa Valley. Essentially a two man operation, their range is a mix of traditional Barossa and some obscure Mediterranean varieties. The value is always extremely high in these wines. A modern approach to a historic region.
