Marco Cirillo is a generous, honest fella, working hard at the incredible collection of family vines and using the old family equipment to quietly and gently go about making his wines.

About the Wine
Cirillo is a name synonymous with the Barossa Valley. Grenache may be the thing they are most known for, but Marco can churn out a mean Shiraz when wants to.
This old vineyard was set to be ripped out before Marco came to the rescue. He treats it very gently. Light aeration through ferment, no hard plunging, no excessive extraction. Letting the character of the fruit and vineyard shine through.
It's Barossa through and through but with a lighter touch in winemaking than many. A great drink and a bankable wine for those who love Shiraz from this part of the world.
About Cirillo Estate
Marco Cirillo is Barossan to the core. His family lays claim to the world’s oldest continuously functioning Grenache vines, the most ancient of them dating back to 1850. This is an incredible achievement from the Cirillos and those vignerons who have tended to these vines for over 160 years.
Marco's range of wines made primarily from Grenache and Shiraz scream quality at every level, with old vine concentration paired with modern brightness of fruit. Considering the incredible history in every bottle, they provide incredible value for the money also - the Vincent Grenache is one of the best $20ish wines in the country. One of our favourite Barossa producers.
