About The Wine
This is the first Nebbiolo from Caroline Mooney and what a beauty it is.
The fruit comes from a vineyard in Dixons Creek, Yarra Valley. Caroline watched this closely in the fermenter, pumping over and plunging down the berries, looking for a more savoury style of Nebbiolo than the bright and juicy wine mould that many Australian Nebbiolos are made in.
This has power and beauty.

A very good, very serious expression of Australian Nebbiolo that many traditionalists will love.
