"Quite often I prefer the Premium to the Reserve, which is no bad thing. So sure-footed and confident, it almost has a swagger. Cherry, sweet cinnamon and cedar oak, dried flowers, a little earthy bass. Medium bodied, silky and precise, with delectable savoury and fruit sweet switching, layered and complex already, laced up tight with ultra-fine pixel tannin, and long smashed strawberry and spice finish. A delight. Really needs a few years, or at worst, a good spell in a decanter." - Gary Walsh (The Wine Front)

CURRENT VINTAGE

2015 The 2015 vintage has delivered red wines with varietal purity, fresh natural acidity, tangy minerality and overall balance: one of our best vintages. These are great wines from Bass Phillip, and they are all capable of medium, long-term cellaring....... However, they are beautiful to drink now!! All the reds need one to two hours breathing after pulling the cork.
