About The Wine
The Ridge of Tears wines are Peter Logan's homage to his late ancestors. Two Shiraz' from two different NSW regions showcasing the differences between the vineyards where they are grown. These wines recieve the most attention and care in the winery from Peter and his team. They are powerful and savoury. They are treated to the best oak.
The Mudgee wine is the bigger, brawnier of the two, with deep pools for fruit and a lavish, smooth mouthfeel. James Halliday awarded this vintage 95 points and Campbell Mattinson awarded it 94.
It's a fitting wine to honour his forefathers, one that will thrill the Shiraz enthusiast who is intrigued by the differences that site has on the finished wine.
