A vibrant, creamy, delicious white, complex and layered, intense and so drinkable.

About this Wine
Chenin Blanc is the star varietal in the Swan Valley, with exceptional old-vines, producing pristine fruit that grows so well in the hot region.
Bella Ridge have established their reputation on the back of this varietal, producing two, sometimes three different iterations each vintage. This estate release is the most classic in style, with a homage to the great wines of Vouvrey, but wholly its own thing.
Full flavoured, and like all their white wines quite textured, and varietally complex, due to the extended bottle ageing before release. Yet despite its age, the wines retains its acidity and freshness.
About Bella Ridge Estate
Bella Ridge Estate is a family owned winery run by winemaker Alon Arbel, and his wife Jodi.
Alon found his way to WA chasing the waves in the 1990’s, where he then met Jodi and settled down to an unfulfilling corporate life. Jodi, sensing his lack of passion, and unbeknownst to him, enrolled him in a winemaking course, and the rest is history.
Purchasing their property in 2003, they released their first wines the following year. Tending to their vines organically, the estate-grown fruit is the main focus for their wines, with small purchases from local growers who share the same grape-growing philosophy, rounding out their range.
Alon and Jodi intentionally hold back their wines in bottle for a few years before release, giving the wines time to develop and evolve their exceptional complexity. For years their small production wines could only be found in restaurants across Australia as they eschewed selling their small production through retail, thus building a cult following amongst sommeliers across the country.
