About The Wine
The iconic Mount Mary Quintet is one of the jewels of the Yarra Valley.
A blend of the five Bordeaux varieties, planted side-by-side on one of the Yarra's most revered sites. This personifies the medium-bodied, regal style of Cabernet blends from this region.
The 2010 vintage was heralded as "a great season for us too. Could become one of our best" by young family winemaker Sam Middleton. All the ducks in a row.
Mike Bennie called it as one of the best Cabernet wines he tried in 2012 with 95 points, now at seven years of age, it is only just beginning to blossom. A thing of beauty. A thing of class. A wine for the cellar to be marvelled at for decades to come.
About Mount Mary
One of the great Australian domains is in the form of its life with young Sam Middleton as head winemaker.
The list of accolades for the great Mount Mary is long and rich. They are one of the country's most celebrated and collectable family-owned estates.
From the impossible balance of the iconic Quintet and Triolet blends to the scintillating Chardonnays and the rare and almost mythical Pinot Noir, there is not a hair out of place in the Mount Mary line up.
With Sam Middleton in charge of the winemaking process, Mount Mary is entering its second golden age as one of the jewels of the Yarra Valley.
