Steven and Emma Raidis introduced Pinot Gris to their Coonawarra property on a hunch that this predominantly red grape region would work well for the variety, and you know what? They were right.
As the Cheeky Goats roam amongst the vines, the Pinot Gris is left to hang just a little longer than usual allowing the natural pink blush to come over the fruit. The result is this beautiful salmon coloured Gris which packs a lot of flavour and charm.
Mike Bennie gave it 92 points and QWINE called it “Very good” in their appraisal of it, and for those who actually want to see varietal character in their Pinot Gris, this is really going to hit the spot.
